The Candidate List to authorisation of Substances of Very High Concern (SVHCs) has been updated with nine new hazardous chemicals and now contains 233 entries. This new SVHCs are used for example in flame retardants, paints and coatings, inks and toners, coating products, plasticisers and in the manufacture of pulp and paper.
We therefore invite all companies to check their products, both mixtures and articles, for their presence, and if necessary comply with the related requirements and revise their Safety Data Sheets or declarations and SCIP notifications.
