New sanction discipline for the violation of (EU) Regulation 2019/1148
On December 23, 2021, was published on the Official Gazette the Law n. 238, that introduce the new sanction regime for the violation of the instructions related to the marketing and use of explosives precursors, set out in (EU) Regulation 2019/1148.
Article 13 of the Law modifies, in particular, the Legislative Decree n. 133 of September 14, 2009, related to the sanction regime for the violation of the REACH Regulation (1907/2006 (EC)), implementing the new sanction regime for explosive precursors.
The penalties, ranging from € 1.000 to € 60.000, came into effect on 1 February 2022.
