The European Commission has recently proposed a revised Regulation on classification, labelling and packaging of chemicals (CLP) and introduced new hazard classes – for endocrine disruptors and other harmful chemical substances –to improve protecting people and the environment from hazardous chemicals. This implementation will have a big impact on the classification of the products, therefore we invite you to consult now the proposal and its annexes to be prepared in advance.
The revised Regulation will also clarifies on labelling issues, such as readability and digital labelling, and increase compliance with CLP for online sales of chemicals, hence facilitating business, including for SMEs, and the free movement of substances and mixtures at EU level.
