ECHA, after analyzing numerous comments on the PFAS consultation, specifies next steps for the proposed restriction in the EU under REACH. The Scientific Committees on Risk Assessment (RAC) and Socio-Economic Analysis (SEAC) will review the proposal and comments by affected sectors.
The national authorities that submitted the proposal are updating their initial report in response to feedback, a report that will be the basis for the committees’ opinions.
