Following the six-month public consultation on the restriction proposal dossier for Bisphenol A and related bisphenols of similar concern for the environment, Germany decided that a significant re-drafting of the document is necessary to reach the defined goals.
Therefore, Germany has decided to temporary withdraw the proposal. The submission of the updated document, that will potentially contain elements which have not been commented yet, will be announced via ECHA’s Registry of Intentions as soon as the respective schedule has been finalised.
