The European Commission has published the updated guideline “Notes of guidance for the testing of cosmetic ingredients and their safety evaluation” of the Scientific Committee on Consumer Safety (SCCS).
The revision is manly focused on aspects like the update of alternative evaluation methods, the possibility of in silico predictions and the exposure of children to different cosmetics categories based on their age.
